What this website collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

Review before launch

This privacy policy is a working draft prepared to cover how the website actually behaves — what the quote form collects, where uploaded photos go, and how long data is kept. It is not legal advice. Have a California attorney review it before publishing, and complete every highlighted item first.

Who we are

DualCraft Contractor ("we", "us") is a California contracting business operated by Cesar Magana and Jesus Avina. You can reach us at cesar@dualcraftcontractor.com, jesus@dualcraftcontractor.com, 760-356-0215, or 442-294-8736.

What we collect

We collect only what you send us through the estimate form on this site:

  • Contact details — your name, phone number, and email address.
  • Project details — the service you need, project address if you provide it, timeline, budget range, and anything you write in the message field.
  • Photographs — any images you choose to upload of the space to be worked on.
  • Technical data — your IP address, recorded in pseudonymized form (a keyed hash, not the address itself) solely to rate-limit form submissions and block automated abuse.

This website sets no advertising cookies, runs no third-party analytics, and loads no external trackers. Fonts and scripts are served from our own server, so browsing these pages does not disclose your visit to any other company.

About uploaded photographs

Photographs of a property can carry embedded location data. We strip it. Every uploaded image is re-encoded on our server the moment it arrives, which removes EXIF metadata including any GPS coordinates, before the file is stored. Uploaded photos are never publicly accessible: they are stored outside the web-accessible area and can only be viewed by an authenticated member of DualCraft staff.

How we use it

To prepare your estimate, contact you about your project, and keep a record of the work. We use it for nothing else.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We have never done so.

How long we keep it

Lead records are retained for retention period pending so we can reference past work and honor warranty claims. You may ask us to delete your record sooner at any time.

How it is protected

Submissions are transmitted over HTTPS. Lead records and uploaded photos are stored on our hosting provider's servers in a location that is not reachable from the public web, and access requires authentication. No system is perfectly secure, but we do not store payment card details on this website at all.

Your California privacy rights

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as a California resident you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we hold about you.
  • Delete the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Opt out of sale or sharing — though as stated above, we do not sell or share personal information.
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email or call either owner using the details above. We will verify your identity — usually by confirming details of the request you submitted — and respond within 45 days.

Children

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
